Channel and purchase flow

After connecting your LineUp API key, you can configure which channel and purchase flow Karo uses.

Channel

A LineUp channel determines how sales are attributed and which rules apply to a transaction. Select the channel that corresponds to your online / web sales.

If you have multiple channels (for example, one for online and one for walk-up box office), choose the online channel. If you're unsure which to use, ask your LineUp account manager.

Purchase flow

The purchase flow controls the booking journey a visitor enters when they click a booking link from Karo. Select your standard online purchase flow.

Refund-specific settings

If refunds are enabled for your Karo app, you'll also see:

Refund purchase flow — a separate purchase flow used specifically for refund transactions. This may be the same as your standard flow or a different one depending on your LineUp setup.

Refund mode — how refunds are processed. Options are:

  • Reservation — the refund is submitted for approval and processed by your box office team.
  • Auto-complete — the refund is processed immediately.

Refund channel — the channel used for refund transactions. Can be set to use the same channel as the original booking, or a specific channel.

Currency and booking fees

Set your default currency (GBP, EUR, or USD) and any booking fees you charge per ticket or per order. These are displayed to visitors alongside ticket prices.
