Connecting LineUp
Karo integrates with LineUp to sync events, look up customer orders, and (optionally) process refunds through the chat.
What you need
- LineUp API key — your LineUp API credentials. Contact LineUp support if you're not sure where to find these.
Setting up the connection
- Go to LineUp settings in the Karo dashboard sidebar.
- Enter your API key.
- Click Save changes.
- Once the API key is saved, the Channel and Purchase flow dropdowns will populate automatically from your LineUp account.
Channel and purchase flow
Channel — select the LineUp channel Karo should use when handling bookings and order lookups. If you only have one channel, select it. If you have multiple, choose the one intended for web / online sales.
Purchase flow — the default purchase flow for bookings. This determines which journey a visitor goes through when they click a booking link from Karo.

Box office phone number
Enter your box office phone number. Karo will show this to visitors when it can't help and needs to suggest calling the box office.
What gets synced
Karo syncs events and performances from LineUp on a background schedule, including event names, descriptions, performance dates, availability, and pricing.
Order lookups happen live when a visitor requests them.
Refunds
LineUp is currently the only integration where Karo supports refund processing. When enabled, Karo can check whether an order is eligible for a refund, present the refund terms to the visitor, and initiate the refund transaction in LineUp.
