Can Karo sell tickets directly?
Not in the sense of completing a full checkout. Karo deep-links visitors to the right point in your ticketing system's booking journey — the seat plan or ticket quantity page for the specific performance they want. The actual purchase happens in your existing ticketing system.
Can Karo handle phone calls?
No. Karo is a text-based chat agent. It doesn't answer phone calls or process voice queries.
Can I have more than one Karo?
Yes. If your organisation needs multiple Karo instances — for different venues, languages, or purposes — these are available on request. Contact your SynapTix account manager.
Can I rename Karo?
Yes, completely. Set a custom assistant name in App settings. Blackpool Grand Theatre named their agent Frank. Your agent can be anyone you like.
What languages does Karo support?
10+ languages. Karo detects the visitor's language automatically and responds in kind. Full internationalisation of the widget interface is in progress.
Can Karo respond to questions in our brand's specific tone of voice?
Yes — use agent instructions in App settings to define your agent's personality, tone, and any specific language style. See Agent instructions and persona.
Is customer data sent to the AI model?
No. Karo is designed so that no personal data is ever sent to the underlying AI model. See GDPR and data handling.
Can I test Karo without putting it on my live website?
Yes. Use the demo link at https://dashboard.heykaro.com/demo/your-app-id. This gives you the full Karo experience without embedding it anywhere.
How do I know Karo is working on my site?
Check the Analytics page for chat volume, and review the Conversations page to see actual sessions. If you're seeing no activity, check that the embed code is installed and that your allowed domain is set correctly.
Can Karo be embedded on any website platform?
Karo works on any website that allows custom JavaScript or HTML in the <head>. This covers WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, custom HTML sites, and most CMS platforms. Installation via Google Tag Manager is the most flexible approach.
Is there a status page?
