MCP and automation

Karo supports token-based MCP (Model Context Protocol) connections, opening up integration with third-party automation tools and services.

What this means

MCP is a standard protocol for connecting AI agents to external tools. Karo can act as an MCP server, and external clients — like Zapier or any tool that supports token-based auth — can connect to it.

Zapier

Karo works with Zapier's MCP integration, which means you can trigger Zapier workflows from Karo events. This can be used to:

  • Send a notification to Slack when a handoff task is created
  • Log conversations to a spreadsheet
  • Trigger a follow-up email sequence when a visitor requests a refund
  • Connect Karo's actions to any of Zapier's 6,000+ apps

Getting started

MCP and automation connections are set up with help from your SynapTix account manager, who will provide the connection details and token. If you have a specific automation in mind, get in touch and we can advise on the best approach.
