Multiple languages
Karo can converse in 10+ languages. No configuration needed — it detects the language the visitor is writing in and responds in the same language automatically.
How it works
When a visitor writes in French, Spanish, German, Dutch, or any other supported language, Karo responds in that language throughout the session. It doesn't need to be told to switch — language detection is automatic.
Knowledge base content
Karo responds in the visitor's language even if your knowledge base is written in English. It translates its understanding of your content on the fly.
For best results, write your knowledge base in the language your team is most comfortable with. Karo will handle the translation.
What this means in practice
A visitor who speaks Spanish can ask "¿Hay funciones con servicio de interpretación en lengua de signos?" and get a relevant answer about your BSL performances — even if you wrote that content in English.
Full internationalisation
Full internationalisation of the chat widget interface (button labels, system messages, form fields) is on the roadmap.
