Conversations

The conversations page shows a searchable, paginated list of every chat session for your app. Go to Conversations in the sidebar.

What you can see​

Each conversation record shows:

  • The date and time the session started
  • The number of messages exchanged
  • A summary or preview of the session

Click a conversation to open the full transcript. You can read every message in the session, including what tools Karo called (event search results, order lookups, handoff actions) and how it responded.

Searching and filtering​

Use the search bar at the top to filter conversations by content. You can search across message text.

Retention​

Conversations are stored indefinitely. There is currently no automatic deletion or retention policy.

Privacy​

Conversations do not include personal data such as email addresses or postcodes — this information is stored separately and is not surfaced in the conversation view. QR codes and ticket barcodes retrieved during a session are also not stored in the conversation record.

Reading conversations regularly — especially in the first few weeks after launch — is one of the best ways to improve Karo. Look for patterns in what visitors ask, where Karo struggles, and what questions you haven't covered in your knowledge base.
